They are Bay south garden, Bay east garden, Bay central garden. The largest garden is the Bay South Garden which is 54 hectors and designed by Grant Associate. The garden city vision has implemented in the form of an intensive tree planting program spearheaded by the park.

The program was a great success. Over 55000 new trees were planted and more than 7400 memorial benches were placed by the end of 1970.

To maintain the momentum, from 1971 the day was reintroduced to tree plantation day and it celebrates by many kinds of people. In 2014, the trees are increased by 1.4 million trees.

Kranji Marshes

Kranji Marshes:

It is one of the largest freshwater marshes in Singapore. It is located along the northwestern shore of Kranji Reservoir. The nature of Kranji Marshi is very charming.

This place is including more than 170 species of bird, 54 species of butterflies and 33 species of dragonflies. It is a great tourist attraction. Many tourists visit the place and refresh their mind.

It is said that this place is a great place for visitors to observe and enjoy nature.

Park Connectors

Singapore’s park connectors is a fantastic way to reach the park, gardens, and waterways. The park connector is ten kilometers long. It connects many kinds of the park.

The parks are Mount Favor Park, Telok Blagah Hill Park, Hortpark, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve. These parks are also popular as like park connector.

The park connector makes easy to go to the park. Feel the cool when you cross the connectors because it is a way along the roads, picturesque and canals that link you to the major parks in Singapore.

Coney Island
