Air France recently added another Airbus A380 service to Shanghai. With the launch of the superjumbo, the airline has achieved the milestone of becoming the first European airline to offer double-decker service to the Asian city.

As per the schedule, the new flight will depart Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport every Monday, Thursday, and Friday at 2320 hours and arrive in Shanghai at 1620 hours the next day. The return flights will depart Pudong Airport Shanghai every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday at 2320 hours and arrive in Paris at 0535 hours the next day. The airline will increase the number of A380s on the route from three to four beginning June 28.

The airline’s new business class flights to Shanghai gives Chinese passengers one more opportunity to travel to Europe. By arriving early morning in Paris, they can align their day and those travelling further can prepare for next departures.
