The main airport for the Philippines islands is located approximately four miles south of Manila and is named as Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (airport code MNL). The airport has 4 terminals and is served by 29 airlines, which makes it one of the busiest airports in the Far East. Terminals

The airport has four terminals out of which three handle international flights and one handles domestic traffic.

Terminal 1: NAIA Terminal; serves all non-Philippines international flights.
Terminal 2: Centennial Terminal; Serves all Philippines Airlines flights only. North wing handles international traffic and South wing handles domestic traffic.
Terminal 3: NAIA International terminal; handles international flights of Air Philippines, Cebu Pacific and PAL Express.
Terminal 4: Domestic Terminal; handles all domestic flights other than Philippines Airlines.

Money, banking, post office and telecommunication: There are a number of banks in the terminals that offer full banking services and money conversion. There are ATMs located in the terminals as well. In addition, post offices and telephone facilities are also offered to the travelers.

Lost and Found: The lost and found facility is located on the ground floor of terminal 1.

Facilities for Passengers with Special Needs: The airport has wheelchairs, ramps, special lifts and washrooms to cater for physically handicapped people.

Car Parking: There are a number of car parking facilities available at the airport. There are both short and long-term parking facilities. There are a sign to guide drivers to the various parking areas. There are shuttle services that operate from the parking areas to the terminals.

Other Services: There are infant and child care services and chapels, prayer and worship rooms.

Getting to and From the Airport

You can get a taxi from anywhere that will drop you to the airport and vice versa. You can also hire the famous Philippines jeepneys to get to the airport or to move around the airport.

The airport is well connected to the city by a shuttle and bus services. The main line is a 2-kilometer taxi ride from the airport. There are a number of car hire kiosks at the airport from where you can easily rent a car on arrival. You can also hire a taxi from the taxi desks at the airport.

The best time to visit the Philippines is between November and April which are the summer months in this country. Avoid visiting there from June to October because the wet season is from June to October and brings rain with warm temperatures.
