Philippine Airlines Baggage Allowance

Philippine Airlines, PAL was founded in 1941. It serves 19 destinations within the Philippines and 24 international destinations. The domestic destinations include:

The Philippine Airlines Baggage allowance is 30 kgs baggage in Business Class, 20 kgs baggage in Economy Class. Freehand carries luggage limit per adult is up to 7 kgs. If you have Excess baggage, you will be charged Php 100 per kilo + 12% VAT at the airport.

The carry on allowance is 1 bag and a personal item weighing up to 15 lb or 7 kg. In addition, a person may carry any of the following items on board, free of charge:

• laptop with bag
• a walking stick or a pair of crutches
• a small camera or a pair of binoculars
• the book, newspaper or magazine
• infant’s food and carrying basket
• purse or handbag
• coat or overcoat
• blanket

You must keep in mind, however, that all carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead cabin or beneath the seat in front of you. In any travel, it is advisable to hand carry as light and little as possible so that you will not have trouble going around from the lounge to the plane and vice versa. Also, your hand carry should be light as you will have to lift and fit it in the overhead storage. In case if it is heavy, or you are finding it difficult to handle it all by yourself (due to an infant, poor health etc), then you may ask the airline staff for assistance.

Mabuhay (Business) Class
• Baggage allowance (number): 2 pieces
• Baggage Dimensions: 62 inches max. per luggage
• Baggage Weight: 50 lb/23 kg max. per luggage

Fiesta (Economy) Class:
• Baggage Allowance (number): 2 pieces
• Baggage Dimensions: 62 in/158 cm max. per luggage
• Baggage Weight: 50 lb/23 kg max. per luggage

If you have an infant for whom you have paid at least 10% of the adult fare, then the infant is entitled to one piece of checked baggage (max. weight 15 lb/7 kg) and one fully collapsible child’s stroller or pushchair.

PAL EconoLight Class (NO FRILLS) passengers
Free baggage allowance limit is 33 lb/15 kg.

How many kilos of baggage is allowed by Philippine Airlines?

A maximum weight of 32kgs is allowed to be carried into the Philippine Airlines. Baggage’s exceeding the mentioned number will not be granted either the customer needs to repack and reduce the weight of the baggage or the customer will be denied entry.
